In general, Pro Tools is a very advanced system that a lot of professionals use to create highly quality sound. Pro Tools is another DAW that has been around quite a while and has gained much of the popularity of all DAW in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

This is not to say the FL Studio sucks at vocal mixing because there are a shit load of artists out there that mix through FL Studio along with other outside VST/ plug-ins like Hopsin (fun fact: Hopsin does everything himself writes, records, produces, mixes, and even directs his own videos!) You will need some outside VST and plug-ins to get the sounds you want. Now, you can record vocals and mix them in FL Studio, though the base FL Studio plug-ins may not do what you want them to do. A lot of DJs use this program to create their own songs or sets when they perform on ULTRA or EZOO for example. The main type of professionals that use this program are producers and DJs.
